The Rice Family: May 2012

I created this blog months ago with the intention of blogging about grad school, our new house and my pregnancy. I have now graduated, we've moved in with my parents as our house construction was delayed, and I am 29 weeks pregnant...and I have not one blog entry to show for it. I have, however, changed the blog's background, font, and photo several times :) Enough is enough, though. I'm ready to start.

As Derek guessed, Baby Rice is a boy! He is due July 24th, and I can't wait to meet him! He is still nameless, and probably will remain so up until he is born. This is because 1.) Derek and I have completely different taste in names and 2.) I firmly believe babies "look" like certain names, so I want to see the baby before I pick his name. In the meantime, much to my dismay, he has been nicknamed "Jedi" by his father. Lets just hope the nickname doesn't stick once he's born! So far my pregnancy has been pretty uneventful, for which I am grateful. Here's a quick photo overview:
